Easts Tigers Rugby Union is based at Bottomley Park, 31 Halifax Street, and says it runs one of the largest junior rugby programs in the southern hemisphere, with nearly 1,000 junior players. Tiger Cubs is an in-house training and game program for children aged 4 to 5, held on Friday nights from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. U6 and U7 play non-contact 7-a-side tag rugby in the Brisbane Junior Rugby Union competition, U8 and U9 move to modified tackle formats, and U10 to U16 teams play on a full-sized field. Girls play in mixed teams until U10, then in girls-only teams, with girls-only 7s in Term 3. In the 2026 season, training ran on Friday afternoons for younger groups and Wednesday evenings for U13 and U14, with Saturday morning games. Players register through Rugby Xplorer, and Queensland Government Fair Play vouchers are accepted. Fees are not published on the website.
