Duke of Edinburgh Youth Adventure January 2027

A five-day, four-night sail training voyage on the tall ship Lady Nelson departing Elizabeth Street Pier, Hobart at 9am on Sunday 3 January 2027 and returning about 4pm on Thursday 7 January 2027. For the first four days participants rotate through navigation and ship's command, engineering, catering and deck crew, and everyone helps with sail handling; on the Wednesday night the group elects a Master, Bosun and Cooks who sail the vessel back to Hobart under supervision. The price includes all meals; the voyage meets the Adventurous Journey requirement for any level of the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award, and a $100 non-refundable deposit secures a place. Residential voyage, 5 days 4 nights; departs 0900 Sun 3 Jan, returns approx 1600 Thu 7 Jan.
