Last updated February 2026

Dr Chris Education runs hands-on science workshops for primary-aged children from Chatswood, founded by physicist and children's author Chris Ferrie. School holiday camps for ages 5 to 9 run 9am to 5pm in Chatswood, Pennant Hills, Burwood and Epping at $139 a day ($119 early bird), combining experiments such as parachutes, periscopes and distorting mirrors with art, Lego, robotics or chess; children bring a nut-free lunch. Weekly two-hour after-school courses cover Newtonian physics, everyday science and quantum physics during school terms. It also runs science birthday parties and school incursions.
