Kingsway Regional Playground (Dinosaur Park)

Council dinosaur-themed playground with a fossil dig in Madeley, Perth, next to a splash pad open daily October to April.

Kingsway Regional Playground, known as the Dinosaur Park, is a City of Wanneroo playground at the Kingsway Regional Sporting Complex in Madeley. The council describes it as a nature-based and sensory park. Its centrepiece is a large stainless steel and concrete Ozraptor sculpture, and nearby an Ozraptor skeleton fossil is buried in sand so kids can dig it up. Next door on Goal Way is the Kingsway Aquatic Play Space, a dinosaur-themed splash pad with water features for children. It is open daily from 8am to 7pm between October and April each year. Press the button on the left side of the gate to run the water for 10 minutes, and press it again as often as you like during opening hours. The council has upgraded the toilets and changerooms there, adding a Changing Places facility and an accessible (ACROD) parking bay. Prices are not published on the council website.
