Darwin Bowls and Social Club at 8 Conacher Street, Fannie Bay, runs social bowls every week of the year and says it caters for all age groups and ability levels, with club bowls lent free. The barefoot sessions are the Thursday Night Magpies (arrive 5.30pm for a 6pm start, finished by 8pm, $12 per person, club-picked teams so no partner is needed) and Sunday Morning Social (10am start, $15, thongs fine, finished by lunch). The Timmur Symphony Eatery serves dinner on the lawn overlooking the greens from Wednesday to Sunday, 5.30pm to 8.30pm. Book a spot on 08 8981 3221 or drop in and add your name to the weekly sheet.
