Corin Forest

Last updated October 2026

Alpine venue near Canberra with a 1.2km year-round Alpine Slide and winter snow play, tobogganing and ski lessons.

Corin Forest is an all-seasons alpine venue about 45 minutes' drive from Canberra's CBD. Its Alpine Slide, open year round, runs 1.2km down through Mountain Ash forest; a lift takes riders to the top. A one-hour session (15-minute safety briefing plus 45 minutes on the slide) costs $30 for ages 8 and up and $10 for children aged 2 to 7. Children must be 8 to ride solo, and the slide is not suitable for under-2s. In winter, Snowplay sessions let kids toboggan, build snowmen and have snowball fights on made snow; a 1.5-hour ticket costs $27.50 and under-2s are free with a ticketed adult. The 2026 snow season ended on 11 October, and as of October 2026 it is open weekends from 9am to 4pm. There is a cafe on site, no entry or parking fees, and parking for about 250 cars on gravel. Bookings are essential and sessions have strict capacities.
