Merri-bek City Council aquatic and leisure centre, open year round just off Sydney Road, with a 50 m outdoor pool, a 20 m indoor pool, an outdoor kids' splash pad, an indoor water play pool, and a spa, sauna and steam room. Open Mon-Fri 5.30am-10pm and Sat-Sun 7am-8pm. Swimming lessons run for all ages and abilities. Access features include gradual ramp entry into both pools, an aquatic wheelchair, hoist entry to the spa, and accessible and family change rooms with hoists. Parking is across Dawson Street (ticketed weekdays) or behind the centre on Phoenix Street (first 90 minutes free).
