Brisbane River Golf Club at 212 College Road, Karana Downs, is an 18-hole golf club formed in 1979, about 30km from the Brisbane CBD. Members and the public can book social rounds every day of the week outside competition times, and tee times can be booked online. A 9-hole Chook Run competition runs on Fridays with no handicap required; other competitions need a GolfLink number and handicap. As of October 2026 junior membership costs $21 a month or $252 a year with no joining fee, and includes access to competitions and free social rounds. Public green fees are not published on the club's pages. Golf lessons are offered through a PGA professional at Ipswich Golf Driving Range, 59 Huxham Street, Raceview, not at the club. The clubhouse has a bar, café and dining. The website does not describe any junior coaching program at the course.
