Birrarung Marr Playground is a City of Melbourne playground in Birrarung Marr, the park on the north bank of the Yarra River between Federation Square and Melbourne Park. The playground was renewed in 2026 and reopened on 8 September 2026. The renewal added new play equipment including slides, a swing and a climbing net, a log trail and climbing mounds, new soft-fall mulch, and more than 40 new trees. The 'Mali the Elephant' sculpture remains in place. The park has two public toilets, picnic facilities, lawns, seats and a shared cycling path. ArtPlay, a children's arts centre with bookable programmed activities, is also in Birrarung Marr. The council does not list any entry fee for the playground.
