The Royal Hobart Show is Tasmania's annual agricultural show, run by the Royal Agricultural Society of Tasmania, which says it is the oldest agricultural show society in Australia. The 2026 show runs from 22 to 24 October 2026. The show covers farming and country life alongside city entertainment, with animal judging, competitions and free family entertainment. Entertainment listed for 2026 includes Dorothy the Dinosaur and Friends, The Outback Stockman's Show, Noah's Racing Pigs, Billy James Magician, Pandara Kelpies, Brian Fish's Bullocks, Reptile Rescue, sheep shearing demonstrations, The Wheelie Bin Orchestra and Crazy Daisy the Clown. Tickets are sold online through the show's ticket link: as of October 2026 a day pass is $20 for adults (16+), $12 for children (5+), $50 for a family pass (2 adults and 2 children), and free for under 5s; a ticket is valid for any one of the three days. Hours are 9am-5pm Thursday, 9am-9:30pm Friday and 9am-4pm Saturday. The 2025 show was held at the Hobart Regatta Grounds while the Showground is redeveloped.
