The Australian Acting Academy's Samford class is held at the Samford Farmers Hall on Main Street, Samford, in the Samford Valley north-west of Brisbane. Kids' acting runs from 4:15pm to 5:45pm, and a teens class follows from 5:45pm to 7:45pm. Children work with real scripts and act for both stage and camera, and the classes focus on listening, expression, confidence and working with others in a safe, inclusive group. Samford is one of eleven weekly Academy locations across Brisbane and the Gold Coast; the main studio is in Red Hill. A free trial class can be booked on the website, so a child can try it before enrolling. For term dates and fees contact the Academy on (07) 3171 7822 or [email protected].
