Learn-to-swim school with its own heated pool in Forde, teaching babies from 6 weeks to school-aged children and squads.

Aquatots is a Canberra swim school operating since 2002, with its own swim centre on Francis Forde Boulevard, Forde, and classes also at Gold Creek (Nicholls), Black Mountain School (O'Connor) and Club Googong. Programs run from babies (from 6 weeks, in the water with a parent) through pre-school (3-5), school-aged (5-12) and advanced classes to the Sea Dragon swim squad, with a water polo pathway. Lessons are 30 minutes in small groups, every lesson includes a water safety skill, teaching is in deep water, and the water is heated to 33 degrees year round. The Rainbow Club runs programs for children needing specialist support from the Forde centre. To enrol, families complete a free 45-minute online information session that explains costs and term dates.
