Aquascene is a fish feeding sanctuary at 28 Doctors Gully Road, Larrakeyah, running since 1981. Visitors hand-feed wild fish that swim into Doctors Gully with the incoming tide, from the viewing platform stairs or by wading in. Fish food is included with entry. It only opens at high tide, so times change daily and are shown on the online booking calendar. Entry is $15 for adults and $10 for children aged 3 to 15, seniors and concession card holders, with a $43 family ticket for two adults and two or three children. Under 3s are free. A 10% surcharge applies on weekends and 15% on public holidays, as of October 2026. Book online or pay at the gate; parking is free and The Gully Cafe is on site. Aquascene advises supervising children near the water and wading no deeper than knee-deep in box jellyfish season, October to May.
